What is Domestic Violence or abuse?
Abuse in a relationship refers to physical, emotional, or sexual abuse by an abuser towards their partner that is designed to control another human being through
the use of fear, humiliation, and verbal or physical assaults. Domestic violence takes many forms and can happen all of the time, or once in a while.
An important step to helping someone you know in
Visit one of our trees at Tongass Federal Credit Union, Peacehealth, or Walmart to pick an item off the tree to donate to WISH. Return it back to the tree for us to pick up.
