Since 1978, we have led the community in the prevention of and response to domestic violence and sexual assault by providing emergency shelter, advocacy, education and family support in an effort to promote nonviolence and peace throughout Ketchikan and Southern Southeast Alaska.
Our primary mission is to provide a safe place, advocacy and education for people impacted by domestic violence, stalking, sexual assault and abuse, and to assist and empower them as they explore their options in Southern Southeast Alaska. We also promote the elimination of violence through primary prevention and education programs, and engaging community members throughout Southern Southeast Alaska .
Shelter: assisting participants to gain safety, safety plan, and move forward with their lives.
Non-Residential: safety checks, crisis calls, legal advocacy and information.
Education & Prevention: contacts within the school district, Ketchikan Indian Community, and partnership with social service agencies in the community.

Family Services: supervised visitations, transportation children and parents to and from appointments, provides resource assistance in medical, housing, public assistance, and provides parent support and skill-building.
